The pub serves one ale from local brewery Dartmoor, generally Jail Ale, and two rotating guest ales, Otter Bitter and Timothy Taylor Landlord making regular appearences. Good value meals are served daily, from 1200-1400 and 1800-2100 Mon - Sat, with a Sunday carvery from 1200-1800. 

The village is served by the regular Tavistock-Plymouth services on the main A386, approx. a 15 minute walk. The local service 55 is limited, but passes the pub. Motorhomes are accepted by prior arrangement.
