A la Ronde is a 16-sided house built in 1796 with many of the original features still in place. The property was built by two spinsters on their return from a tour of Europe. One of the most inspirational parts of the 18th-century A la Ronde is the shell-encrusted gallery, made from over 25,000 hand-picked shells.
