    Shakespeare In the Gardens - Pecorama

    Join us for an evening performance of The Tempest, by The Inn Theatre Company – A Theatre Hub Production. Gates will reopen at 6.30pm with the show starting at 7.30pm and finishing at approximately 10.00pm with a short interval. The Garden Room Restaurant will be open during these times for light refreshments. Alternatively, bring your own picnic!

    Theatre Hub Production’s tour last year was listed by TripAdvisor in the top-ten must-see shows of 2016’s “Shakespeare 400”, celebrating 400 years since the death of Britain’s renowned bard.

    Back for our second year, bigger and better than 2016!

    Plymouths biggest VW based event, for all the family. A one day car show and fun day for all the family, upon the promenade at Plymouth Hoe. Trade stands, specialist caterers and entertainment from the local area, as well as over 200 vehicles from the VAG group on display. Free entry to the public on the day and only £10 per vehicle, for the show entry.

    Dancing on the Sea - The Hoe - Plymouth - Events

    Free fun family event - all welcome!

    Make the day whatever you make of it, so picnic, social dancing, chilling out, mingling and enjoying the beautiful views from the Plymouth Hoe. Expect lineups and animations from local Salsa/latin/bachata & zumba instructors and friends throughout the day. 

    Where to find us - At the Plymouth Hoe Waterfront (right beside the lighthouse in the grassy area close to the hoe cafe). You should be able to find lots of us, including many of our team wearing the "Plymouth Salsa" t-shirts dancing the day away to latin music.

    Will there be a sound system - Yes. We will have top of the range speakers/amp system just for us to dance and relax and enjoy the good vibes!

    Music and programme - We will have our own DJs but there will be an opportunity throughout the day to plug in your ipod and play some music (latin music). > There will also be some FREE dance taster/workshops during the day.

    Crash Box Classic Car Show - Powderham Castle

    Entirely organised by the Crash Box & Classic Car Club of Devon the show attracts huge numbers of classic vehicles from all eras.

    Event includes:

    • Individual Classic Cars, Individual Classic Motorcycles, Classic Car & Motorcycles Clubs (80 in 2016), Modern Classics, Full Size & Miniature Steam Engines, Tractors & Stationary Engines, Commercial Vehicles including Buses and Coaches.
    • A full programme of Arena events with cavalcades from the various sections.
    • Sheepdog Display in Main Arena. (Saturday only) Timings to be advised nearer the event.
    • A large area is devoted to the Trade, Auto Jumble and Craft stands.
    • The Live Music stage entertains the crowds with bands performing throughout the weekend.
    • Saturday sees a fun Dog Show.
    • A dedicated area for Children's amusements including a Bouncy Castle and slides. Face painting and other fun things for kids.

    On site camping is available for both exhibitors and visitors and there is an easily accessable free public car park. A Programme is available to buy giving details of the exhibits and the arena event programme. 

    But our greatest joy is that over the years this event had raised thousands of pounds (In excess of £120,000.00) for local and national charities.
