Visitors are welcome to come and explore the Cathedral and enjoy some of its treasures and wonders, including the uninterrupted vaulted ceiling (the longest of its type in the world), the astronomical clock and the unusual Minstrels' Galley.

Opening Times

The Cathedral is normally open to visitors from 09.00 (last entry at 16.45) Monday - Saturday, and from 11.30 (last entry 15.30) on Sunday. There may be occasional restrictions on visitor hours when the Cathedral is usued for special services or events, so please contact us before making a special journey.
