We are a traditional Devon Inn situated in the heart of Sampford Peverell, near Tiverton, backing on to the Grand Western Canal. The Canal dates back to 1814 and was declared a Country Park in 1971 and a Local Nature Reserve in 2005 (www.tivertoncanal.co.uk) .  It is popular for recreation, wildlife and historic interest and provides a wonderful setting to enjoy walking, cycling, boating and fishing. The Globe Inn is therefore in an ideal location for you to enjoy the facilities of The Canal and for you to then relax and unwind in our friendly and cosy surroundings with a light snack, refreshing drink or a la carte lunch.
