The Aquarium provides a fascinating insight into the wonders of the aquatic world found locally around North Devon.

Its beautiful exhibits are carefully recreated natural habitats, providing home to over 75 species, some of which for many visitors, have never been seen before.

Visitors follow a unique zoned journey from the the source of an Exmoor stream, down river, to an estuary, local rockpool, harbour, coast and out to Lundy and it’s unique marine reserve. Free quiz trails, extensive interpretation, presentations, experienced fish keeper guides - offering feeding demonstrations and interactive opportunities, are all available throughout the day.

Additional facilities for your benefit, include the The Pier Cafe, where a wide variety of delicious, sensibly priced, quality products, are available to enjoy in our sheltered, outside seating area sun trap or within our Rocket Shed Gallery building.
