Surrounded by unspoilt patchworks of fields, hedgerows, stonewalls, woodland, and granite Tors, the neighbouring farmland is at an organic higher level. We are a level 1/2 mile walk from the picturesque village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor where the world famous Widecombe Fair dating back to 1850, still takes place every year. Local amenities in the village include a local post office, gift shops,children’s outside play area, riding stables and a National Trust Information Centre. A choice of cafes and traditional inns which source and provide fine local produce ensure an authentic taste of Devon.

Wooder Manor is an ideal central location for touring Devon and exploring Dartmoor. Walkers are spoilt for choice with walks to suit everyone starting from the doorstep, and it is just a leisurely stroll to a hike on the moors.
