There is lots to see here at the Trust but also lots to do! Why not combine your trip with an unforgettable encounter and meet some of our animals or hear the regular talks given by our keepers and learn more about the vital conservation work the Trust overseas?

You can also have free re-entry on the same day, so after exploring our local area and having some lunch, you can come back for the Margay and Civets' feeding times and keeper talks in the afternoon.

For those who want to make the most of their visit, we offer a range of truly memorable encounters and experiences that will inspire and delight. All experiences include entry to the Trust; pre-booking is essential please call the Trust before your visit, find out more visit our website

Keeper Talks

During the day, our keepers will be on hand to give public talks about some of our animals at their feeding times. You will be able to learn about the family groups here at the Zoo, as well as the work we support in protecting their cousins in the wild.

Keeper Talks Include:

  • 10.30am is the Lemur feed with a talk including the Trust's involvement with conservation in Madagascar.
  • 1.00pm is our Nocturnal house insect feed, where keepers will tell you about the plight of the slow loris; an adorable primate from South East Asia.
  • 2.00pm is our Capuchin enrichment feed, and a talk on our family of Yellow-breasted capuchins and how we support research in the wild for this critically endangered monkey.
  • Margay feed is normally between 3-4.00pm, where you can see this shy and beautiful cat and hear about the work we support in South America.
  • At 4.00pm you can watch our pair of Owston's civets have their feed and listen to keepers as they talk about how the Trust supports the crucial conservation efforts in Vietnam for this elusive and rare carnivore.

Please note that keeper talk times may vary from day to day so please check on arrival for the day's schedule.
