We welcome everyone in our cafe from walkers with dirty boots to businessmen in need of our free WiFi. We also welcome well behaved dogs on a lead! We have an open fire as well as a woodburner!! 

We are huge supporters of the Ten Tors event held on Dartmoor every year! We also now have the opportunity to offer guided walks and off road guided mountain biking. We also now stock some camping and bicycling spares. 

Our cafe has transformed in the last year, since we took over in May 2010. We have fully redecorated and added some extras to our menu. We have an open fire and a woodburner with two comfy sofas right next to them!!
We can seat 50 inside and another 50 outside, 16 of those are in our new undercover seating area. We are fully licensed as well as being the village off-licence so stock all Dartmoor Brewery bottled Beer along with a selection of wines to drink in or takeaway. 

We welcome muddy boots and paws, please keep your dogs on a lead at all times.

We have a gluten and wheat free menu, please ask at the counter for details.  

We offer a range of food sourced from local suppliers such as Howells butchers of Tavistock, Tamar View Fruiterers of Saltash, Dartmoor Chilli Farm, Burts Crisps of Devon and Handmade Fudge from Devon. We even get our coffee from Buckfastteigh (though it did originite in Italy)!

We feel very strongly about providing great food at a reasonable price, we also make nearly everything we sell as well so can tell you who’s made what!
