Nepal is the country known as the birth place of Buddha, and country of the highest peak in the world, Mt. Everest and great brave Gurkha solders. Nepalese cuisine has a unique combination of food from the tropical low lands to the cold Himalayan geography. This alone has played a major role in the eating pattern.

Nepalese food is prepared using the most common spices combined with distinct Himalayan spice TIMUR (a cousin of Schewan pepper) and the herbs called JIMBU directly imported from the highland of Nepal.
