The northern coast of Devon is full of delights. Whether you are looking for a destination for your holiday or just somewhere to escape for a couple of hours, this area has it all.

North Devon National Trust looks after several stunning places; whether you are looking for hidden valleys to stunning coasts, you'll find all of that and much, much more.

In West Exmoor, our properties include Watersmeet, a dramatic river gorge, ancient woodlands, with a seasonal tea garden and shop in stunning surroundings and the Heddon Valley, with towering cliffs, coves and a wooded valley all within Exmoor National Park.

Following the coastline to the west you'll get to Mortehoe, gateway to a wild, remote coast with a rich history of wrecking and smuggling, and Woolacombe, with its spectacular coastline of cliff, coves, beaches, dunes and headlands. Nearby you'll find Baggy Point, the impressive headland at Croyde with crashing waves and dramatic cliffs.

Further along the coast you'll find Bideford Bay and Hartland, miles of unspoilt coastline that inspired Rudyard Kipling. Venture inland and you'll find Dunsland, a grand Parkland abundant in wildlife and with over 900 years of history.

There's so much to see and do - where will you start?
