In the spring the Dartmoor ponies can be seen with their newly born foals and you can see the colours of the moors change with the season.

The cathedral city of Exeter is 18 miles where there are plenty of things to see and do, from walking the canal towpaths to sitting on the quay having a nice cup of coffee in the many cafés watching the world go by. Within an hours drive you have the sandy beaches of Exmouth and Teignmouth. The Eden project, Barnstaple and Plymouth are also within easy reach. From Woodland Springs you can hop on to the A30 which is about 1.5 miles away and be on your way to a good day out.
